This is probably going to be my only Olympic jersey as they're just too hard to find. Sweden joined the IIHF on March 23, 1912 and currently rank #7 for men's in the world, #8 for women's in the world, and reside in the top division for men's IIHF tournaments. The 2010 Winter Olympics would be held in Vancouver, BC. Sweden would have a solid preliminary round winning all their games, but would be defeated by Slovakia in the quarter finals. Sweden would come in 5th with a record of 3-0-0-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L). Canada would end up winning the tournament with USA taking silver and Finland taking bronze.
This jersey was game issued during the 2010 Olympics. Sweden was allowed to wear their primary yellow jerseys throughout the tournament so these were never worn in a game. Being the Olympics, the jersey would be made of Nike's Swift material which was very lightweight, form fitting, and included a tie down fight strap. The Nike swoosh logo would be sewn in the top right chest and the Swedish Olympic patch would be sewn on the top left shoulder. The tagging includes the IIHF Authentic Collection tag as well as a screen printed numbered size and "Made in Canada" on the inside neck. The inside bottom hem includes the heat pressed Nike bar-code.
The main crest would be the Tre Kronor (Three Crowns), the national emblem of Sweden, which is sewn on. The numbers are double layered twill sewn onto the jersey and the name is heat pressed onto the nameplate which is sewn to the jersey. This jersey style would be modeled after the existing national team jerseys and would be only worn for this tournament.

Tobias Enström has had a pretty long career playing in both the NHL and Swedish professional leagues. Born in Nordingrå, Sweden, Enström would play in the Swedish Elite League before being drafted 239th overall by the Atlanta Thrashers in 2003. He would continue to play in the Elitserien until he won the championship in 2007. He would then join the Thrashers in 2007 for 4 seasons until they became the Jets where he played 7 more seasons. With his game declining, he decided to return to Sweden to captain MODO Hockey in Sweden's tier two league and would retire after 2 seasons. This was Enström's first and only Olympics. During the tournament, he would play 4 games while scoring 0 goals, 2 assists, collecting 4 PIMs, and finishing +3 overall.

Well this is the only International replica I have and it's because it has one of my all time favorite players on it. Forsberg only wore the Olympic style of this jersey which is unfortunate because I really do like this style for Sweden's jersey and would love to get a Nike Swift authentic with his name on it. Not going to find the Olympic version of this one though. The fabric this jersey made of is really soft though so this'll be a keeper for a while.
